Imagine starting the day off with coffee not only in your cup, but also powering your vehicle.

Corn isn’t the only crop that can be used to create bio fuel, In fact, any plant rich in oils can be refined into a bio fuel source.  Recent studies suggest that coffee grounds could be refined into bio fuel and then sold at a pump near you for an estimated $1.00 per gallon

Should someone decide to bring these findings to life, we may find that Dunkin’s slogan “America Runs on Dunkin” could become eerily more true than ever before.  I wonder what it would feel like knowing you’re tanking a car with coffee?

At any rate, one would certainly wonder if powering all vehicles on coffee would make the U.S. one of the most pleasant smelling places on the planet.  Would highways exude the aroma of freshly brewed coffee or smell like the charred desecration of a beautiful thing?
